Val Hudson
Lyric Soprano
Born and raised in London, Ontario, Val has been singing and performing since the age of 6. She also studied piano, guitar, and clarinet. Val was a featured performer with Orchestra London in their Cabaret Series, and also appeared as a soloist with the Northumberland Philharmonic (Cobourg’s orchestra) in Mozart’s Requiem. She has been a dinner theatre performer in Kingston, Hamilton, Niagara-on –the Lake, and London and has toured Ontario with numerous rock bands. Val has been with the Calgary Opera Chorus for 8 seasons and does radio and TV jingles. She has performed in the Easter Seal telethon; been a finalist in a CBC-TV talent competition and a recording artist with Tommy Banks of Edmonton.
